Why?
Because Red Fort is not just a fort but it has become synonymous with India’s Independence Day, where every year prime minister of India hoist the national flag of India.
Red fort has a rich history, In 1638, the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan moved the capital of his empire from Agra to a newly constructed city in Delhi that he called Shahjahanabad. At that time, he laid the foundations of his palace, the Red Fort or Lal Qila. It took almost ten years to complete its construction. This fort was the seat of the Mughal empire for around 200 years.
Today, Red fort is not only famous among locals and tourists but also among film makers who choose Red fort for shooting their films. To name a few movies like Fan, Bajrangi Bhaijan, Delhi-6 were all shot here !
